THE TRANS-PROVENCE CONCEPT
The ultimate blend of gravity racing excitement, with wilderness biking adventure.
Trans-Provence is pretty much as 'All-Mountain' as you're going to find in a multi-day MTB event. Throughout this unique week-long journey, the full spectrum of riders' technical mountain biking ability, fitness and craft is tested to the limit on some of the wildest bikeable terrain in Europe.
Most specifically, due to its innovative format of partially gravity-assisted, multiple downward-pointing timed stages per day, Trans-Provence rewards the ability to descend mountains quickly on technical trails. This makes it a point-to-point race which is won on singletrack, and NOT on wide forest roads.
Trans-Provence is strictly limited to 70 participants per year. This is due to capacity contraints brought about by the event's format and location.
